Mandy Bennett founded The Empowered Classroom out of a deep, personal conviction: that every child is uniquely and wonderfully made by God, and that the way a child learns should never determine their worth, their potential, or their access to a quality education.
As a mother, educator, and lifelong learner herself, Mandy understands firsthand the challenges that homeschool families face — especially those navigating the complexities of learning differences like dyslexia, dysgraphia, ADHD, and ADD. She has walked alongside families in their educational journeys and seen the transformative power of patient, personalized, faith-rooted instruction.
Her vision for The Empowered Classroom is simple but profound: create a place where students feel seen, known, and celebrated. A place where faith and academics walk hand in hand. A place where families are partners, not passengers, in their children's education.
Under Mandy's leadership, The Empowered Classroom operates as a true supplement to home education — providing structured academic support, social community, and individualized accommodations while keeping the home educator firmly in the driver's seat of their child's educational journey.
